Katsura Grill
On our trip to Disney World in February, we decide to eat at Katsura Grill again. We ate here back in December of 2017 and really enjoyed our experience. The food was good, and the atmosphere and location were great. So it was only fitting to eat here again.
We visited on our last full day at Epcot. We planned to eat lunch at a quick service spot since we had dining reservations for both breakfast and dinner. This seemed like the perfect place because it was on our way back to our room for our midday break, and while the food is filling, it doesn’t last too very long. So we wouldn’t be too full to have dinner that evening.
It was quite busy the day we ate here. There were a lot of teenage kids that appeared to be there on a sort of school trip. They looked to all be local. We luckily beat most of them to the restaurant and we were able to get an inside seat. Below you can see some of the indoor area and seating. There is a lot more seating outside, but it was too warm at lunchtime to do this.
While they serve lots of Japanese food here, we went with what we knew we would love the most, chicken teriyaki. We love sushi, but it isn’t made in-house, and Brad doesn’t like cucumber in his. The food here is very generous and a great use of the dining plan. We got a side salad, rice and 2 chicken breast covered in teriyaki sauce. Brad was unable to finish his. I finished most of mine and even ate his salad. The food really is good here, and I recommend it even if you aren’t a sushi fan. They have great options to satisfy you.
And Melody slept, ha!
