Disney World Day Four March 2023

Disney World Day Four March 2023

Our fourth day at Disney World was our “break” day. We always strive to have a somewhat laidback day in the middle of a big Disney trip. Unlike trips past, we opted to still make it to the parks somewhat early, but leave after lunch. Brad’s parents are morning people, and while at Disney we tend to be too.

We started off the morning with a monorail ride to Epcot. We did sleep in some but not too much.

We made it to Epcot around 10:20 am. We took pictures as soon as we arrived. It was COLD morning. Like a jacket was 100% required. But since we had not taken any pictures in from of Spaceship Earth, we made sure to stop and take some.

We first went to Creations Shop and did some shopping. Vicki wanted a better jacket, and we had not really had a good opportunity to look at souvenirs. After that, we headed to the World Showcase. All the wait times were SO HIGH, and we did not buy Genie+ since we did not intend to be at Epcot very long. So instead, we bought a scavenger hunt from the Creations Shop, and started on our way. One line that didn’t seem long was Gran Fiesta Tour in the Mexico Pavilion. It actually did have quite the line (almost to the entrance), but it moved super fast. We were on it within 5 minutes.

We left there and continued our hunt. We found a the face painting stand, and Melody really wanted to do it. Bob Bob couldn’t resist, and he purchased it for her. They do offer same day touch ups, so we stopped back by after lunch just to seem like we were getting our money’s worth. We kept exploring afterwards and even stopped at a KidCot area.

We had lunch reservations at Via Napoli at 12:50, so we headed there. We love their pizza so much. Brad and I split a small one easily, but he did have a few slices of his parent’s pizza too.

On our way to get Melody’s face paint touched up, we stopped and got some more pictures in Italy. You can really see the crowds picking up.

Then we started the walk back to the International Gateway. With how the bus system works at Shades of Green, it made the most sense for us to exit this way and take the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios. Then we took the bus from there directly back to then hotel. Otherwise we would have had to walk back to the front of the park, catch the monorail, then catch a bus back to the hotel (or walk to the Polynesian then walk to the hotel). Plus the Skyliner is a ride in itself.

The rest of the day was a lounge day. I napped. Brad did some laundry. We had dinner. We had ice cream. We played in the arcade. And we went to bed early!
