May 2023 Fun
You have heard it before. You probably even live it. But May is truly the new December. ALL. THE. THINGS. But we always have fun, even through all of the stress.
We spent a lot of time at school. Even beyond the ordinary school days, I found myself there. We had field day, birthday lunch, fitness night, and volunteering in general. Melody’s teacher is “looping” next year. So I helped her pack up a lot of her things to move to their new classroom!
Brad and I celebrated our TENTH wedding anniversary in May. He surprised me BIG with diamond earrings that I have been asking for for probably the last 10 years! We celebrated also with a fancy German lunch and a truly ordinary evening of gymnastics and fast food!
Melody has fallen in love with roller skating after we attended a birthday party in May. She caught on quick too! And after 20 years, I still have it!
We celebrated a lot of things too. Melody was in a church performance. She had her annual dance recital. And both her and Lydia celebrated turning 7!
Mother’s Day was fun and involved cheesecake! And a heartfelt poem from Melody.
And lots of other fun activities too!
