Disney World Traveling Home March 2023

Disney World Traveling Home March 2023

Leaving Disney World is always one of the hardest parts. We really had such a fun time this trip, and we loved almost everything about it. (I will speak to the negatives in a future post. All were in regards to changes (such as Genie+.))

We didn’t sleep in, but we also did not get up super early. Brad’s parents had a really early flight, so we said our goodbyes to them the night before. We did pack up and leave by 9 or so. Our only major hiccup was on the Turnpike. Melody started to feel really nauseated. We made it to the service complex but she threw up and had to change clothes. Unfortunately all we had was a Rapunzel dress up dress readily available. So she just rocked it the rest of the trip.

We made decent time. We tried to only stop at Buc-ee’s on the drive home though. So did everyone else. I have never seen a line for a bathroom so long there before!

We ate lunch at a McDonald’s. Then we grabbed dinner at Buc-ee’s in Leeds before finishing the drive. On our drives home we really aim to make it all in one drive vs having to spend the night. We usually succeed. Especially when just coming back to Huntsville.
