Disney World Day Five March 2023

Disney World Day Five March 2023

Our fifth day was a day we had been look forward to for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience. It would be Melody’s first time getting to do it, and Vicki was so looking forward to it. And while the time originally wasn’t ideal, we ended up being happy with it. So this was definitely a Melody kind of day ahead!

We took our time getting out and did not rush to make rope drop. We utilized the shady shuttle then took the monorail from Polynesian to Magic Kingdom. Just like on day three, Bob played golf this morning.

We bought Genie+, so we utilized it as much as we could during the morning time. We rode Pirates of the Caribbean, then the Magic Carpets twice (Melody and me; Melody and Brad). We actually ran into some friends while waiting in line. We then rode the train as Melody had never gotten the chance to ride it before. It had always been closed, or we didn’t have time.

We had lunch at Pinocchio Village Haus using mobile order. After lunch, we headed to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. They only allow two people with the child, so Brad left when we checked in. I plan to go into more details about the fun experience later. But they are fairly strict about not checking in too early. Our entire experience from checking in until leaving was 90 minutes though.

While we were getting Melody dolled up, Brad decided to take lots of pictures along with riding PeopleMover before leaving. He went back to the hotel to meet up with Bob after he finished playing golf.

Immediately after finishing at Bibbidi Bobbidi, we headed to Sir Mickey’s to utilize the photo studio they have. They got some really adorable pictures of Melody all dressed up.

Then we went to the Tiana and Rapunzel meet and greet using Genie+. I was really disappointed that there were not any PhotoPass photographers, but I took lots of pictures. Melody was so happy to see Rapunzel again. She brought her Rapunzel dolls to share for pictures too.

This was going to be our last time at Magic Kingdom this trip, and Melody really wanted to ride the carousel. So we fit that in before heading out..

We were also sure to grab some pictures of Melody in front of Cinderella’s Castle.

We decided to meet the guys at the Ticket and Transportation Center since we were heading to Epcot for the evening. While waiting, we grabbed some coffee at Joffrey’s.

Because of the rain earlier in the trip, Melody did not get to meet Minnie Mouse. So we were sure to do it as soon as we arrived. Minnie loved her dress!

Then we took some more pictures in front of Spaceship Earth.

We rode Spaceship Earth and Journey into the Imagination. We also recreated some photos in the UK. I do feel like we also did some shopping during this time too.

I know we did some shopping because Bob pulled this shirt out after we finished dinner at Chefs de France. We saw it earlier in the trip and thought it was fitting for Bob. So he and Brad snuck off and got it before we went to dinner. Chefs de France was good as always.

We then rode Test Track. It is one of Melody’s favorites. And somehow her hair didn’t even move.

When we got back to the hotel, Melody, Bob, and Vicki grabbed a picture in front of the patriotic Mickey Mouse in the lobby.

Then we headed to bed!
