World's Largest McDonald's

World's Largest McDonald's

During our trip to Disney World back in March 2023, I finally took Brad to the World’s Largest McDonald’s. It is located in Orlando, and it has changed quite a lot from my first visit there back in 2008. While I didn’t research the changes, I am certain they leveled the original building and rebuilt it. Either way, this was all about our experience there in March of 2023.

So the outside is huge. But honestly, it doesn’t look much bigger than the McDonald’s on Disney property (at least from the outside). We were surprised how small the one on Disney property truly was. There was plenty of parking, and navigating the parking lot was not too bad.

The inside was truly insane. It was two stories of walking space, but the play area expands another story on its own. On the first floor is where you order along with some seating and restrooms. We ordered using the kiosks so we could see all the options, but you can wait in line to order here. They also have a bakery and pizzeria. You can actually sit around the pizza oven and watch them make pizza while you eat.

Upstairs you will find more seating along with a two+story playground and an arcade. We did let Melody have about half an hour to play on the playground. You can find both stairs and an elevator to get between the two floors.

So our food was really the highlight for us. As I mentioned, we ordered at the kiosk. We then found a seat downstairs. They brought things a different times which was ok. We got our cups and ordinary McDonald’s food first. Brad and Melody got their usual nuggets and fries. Next came out the cheesecake. It was SO good. You wouldn’t even think it came from a McDonald’s honestly. Lastly came the pizza. That was my food, but Brad had some because it was A LOT. I had just cheese and onions. And it was really, really good. If our McDonald’s offered it, I might budge and let us go to McDonald’s more. It was a thin crust pizza and had a. nice crunch to it. I would definitely get it again, and maybe I would split it next time with Brad.

Even with the food coming out at different times, it was all really good. And they all literally came out within minutes of each other. The staff was incredibly nice, and Melody loved the play area. I definitely could see us going back here if in town, and we have the time!
