August 2023 Fun
August was a full and fun month filled with lots of milestones too.
Melody started SECOND grade!
And since school started, she spent a lot of time in carline, of course! And I got to sneak in the lunchroom and see her once day.
She helped and played around the house. She got a new bookshelf that she helped me put together for her room. And we built many forts!
Brad traveled for work for a week. On his travel days, we always take pictures to send him throughout the day. Some are included below.
We spent some time outside. Melody enjoyed the pool as well as popsicles!
We went to the skating rink with Emily and Lydia one Friday night. The girls had a blast, and we ended it with ice cream from Sonic.
Melody got to change her earrings for the first time, she got a Bible at church, and she visited her doctor.
And the biggest event of August, Brad turned 40! We threw him a surprise party earlier in the month. Then we had Cheesecake Factory for dinner on his actual birthday!
