Disney Souvenir

If you have stayed at Disney World in the last few years, they send a nice little picture and a thank you for visiting.  We have received both Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.  It is a sketch picture and at the bottom it says "Payne Family Vacation 2015".  It is super cute, and we have so many that I felt we should do something with at least one of them.  This idea has been floating around Pinterest, so I decided to recreate it.  See below!

Disney Nails

On our most recent trip to Disney World, I wanted to paint my nails in a Disney fashion. I found some different ideas from Pinterest, but I was unsuccessful in recreating them the same way. My mom and I improvised and below are the results!

John Deere DIY Baby Shower

When a was planning a baby shower for a coworker, I knew John Deere would be the perfect theme. Her son's nursery was going to have a lot of John Deere incorporated, and she is also a John Deere fan. Unfortunately finding John Deere baby shower items is difficult, so I decided to make my own. Below are the centerpieces I made and Cupcake toppers.

Wedding Gift Basket

So while shopping for our cousin's wedding, I found the cutest little mini-utensils for baking. I loved them so much, I decided to make a small gift basket for baking for her shower. The 'basket' is a stainless steel mixing bowl. We purchased one of each utensil in different colors of course. Then we topped it off with measuring cups! Super cute and easy wedding gift!

Bookmark Favor

For my sister-in-law's baby shower, we had a Storybook theme.  Everyone was asked to bring a storybook instead of a card, and all of the decorations and food were based on some sort of storybook.  When trying to decide a favor, I thought it would be perfect to give everyone a bookmark.  I mean what goes better with a storybook theme than a bookmark to save your place in said storybook.

Fabric Bookmark

As a nice surprise for Brad, I found some leftover TMNT fabric that I knew I probably would never use. I decided to take the fabric and make Brad a bookmark. This was really a quick and easy project. If you have some leftover fabric, thread, needle, and a random piece of cardboard you are good to go!
