Onesie Banner
One of the pieces of decor I used at Emily’s baby shower was a onesie banner. I placed the banner over my fireplace, and it was sort of a centerpiece to the living room where everyone would be sitting. I made the onesies using my Silhouette Cameo of course.
I found a pack of boy colored onesies that I decided I wanted to use rather than just plain white onesies. It came with 4. So I decided to do 2 onesies with just his name, and then 2 onesies that were a mom/dad onesie.
His name ones were simple. One was his name with arrows above and below.
And another was simply just his name.
The mom onesie was simple but cute. It said Mama’s Boy. Her daughter calls her Mama so that was fitting. Then the “O” in boy was made with a heart too. So simple yet special.
The dad onesie was an easy one for me because Justin loves to fish. So I wanted to play off of that. I used a fish I had already then put beside it “Daddy’s Fishing Buddy”.
I used twine and attached each onesie with clothespins. In between each onesie I used fabric from Lydia’s first birthday party since it worked perfectly with the colors I used at the shower.
A onesie banner is the perfect addition to any baby shower, and it is fairly easy to do!
