July 4th
This was our first July 4th at our new house! We live in a much smaller neighborhood now, so we don’t have a big firework spectacle like we had at our last house. However, we did get to see a lot of fireworks throughout the weekend, and we had a lot of fun doing it. Melody seemed to really enjoy it all this year too which was fun!
On Friday, we spent the day at my parents house. My mom’s birthday is this week, but she will be traveling for work. So we also celebrated while visiting with them. We spent a lot of time at the pool, followed by some fun inside. And we ended the night shooting fireworks at their house. Melody really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun!
On Saturday we smoked ribs, as usual. We started the day outside with the girls. Our friends came over, and we blew up a fun pool that they played in. We ate yummy food, and we ended the night outside watching fireworks all throughout our neighborhood and surround neighborhoods. Our neighbors said they have never seen this many fireworks around. It was a lot of fun.
