On day three of our March 2023 Disney trip, we tried something new. We had a late breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal table. My hesitation eating here has always been the cost vs the value. Melody doesn’t eat much, so is it worth the price tag for such a place? There was also rumors swirling around then on whether the princess were back dining with guests. But this was one place Vicki really wanted to eat at, so we decided, why not?
Our reservation was at 10:05, and we were called back at 10:15. We were asked to wait in a line where we would get to meet Cinderella and get our picture made with her. This is the only photo pass photographer you will encounter during this experience, but we did get about 10 pictures. Some with our entire group, and then they took some of just Melody and Cinderella.
Once you were done taking your pictures, you walked up the staircase to be seated. We were sat right in the middle of the castle dining room. I am honestly not sure that there is a bad seat here. By the window, you might get to see outside of it, but since it is stained glass, your view is still limited. The princess during our visit are below: Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora, and Rapunzel. They came out during various times throughout our meal. They would even announce each princess as she walked out. They also made sure we saw each princess before we left.
I thought the food was pretty good. As soon as we sat down, we were given menus and ordered as soon as they brought us our drinks. Once we ordered, we were also brought pastries. All of the pastries were really good. My favorite was the Mickey blueberry muffin. I got the French toast, Brad got the steak and eggs, and Vicki got the traditional breakfast. All of our food was delicious, but I honestly am not sure it was worth the price tag. Melody just got the kids bacon and Mickey waffles.
I am glad we got to experience eating in the castle at least once. But it was honestly so pricey, it would have to be a special occasion for us to eat here again. I know you are truly paying to see the princesses and be in the castle, but that is a tough cost to take in. I do think it is something to do once though!
